Bryan Passifiume is a journalist with the National Post‘s Parliament Hill bureau, formerly serving as city hall reporter for the Toronto Sun. Prior to that, he was the crime reporter for the Calgary Sun and Calgary Herald. His 20+ career in journalism began as a television news photographer, news producer and studio director before transitioning to writing for and editing newspapers across Canada. In 2007 he was nominated for a National Newspaper Award for his coverage of that year’s devastating wildfires in Waterton Lakes National Park in southwestern Alberta.
